My cousin Nardia had suggested that we go to Negril, Jamaica for an event called ATI. She mentioned that ATI is 5 days of non-stop parties on the beach, immediately we we’re intrigued! She specified that we would have to book our tickets and our accommodations well in advance because events like these tend to book up quickly. Once we were all on board she began looking for accommodations and we ended up staying at Beach House Villas and Hotels. In the end we split the cost between 6 of us so each person paid less than $200 CAD. We also purchased the ATI wrist band, we paid $11000 or $170 USD each which gave us access to all of the parties which included an abundance of drinks and food.
We stayed in the Jungle House Villa which was located on the lower level of the property. It was decorated in a jungle animal print theme and had 2 bedrooms (1 Queen 1 Full in each), 2 bathrooms, 1 living/dining and kitchen, plus 1 Queen futon couch. The kitchen included a refrigerator, oven, microwave, blender, coffee maker and dishes. This villa is located about 25 steps from the beautiful 7 mile beach.
The one thing I really enjoyed about staying at this villa was we were able to enjoy Negril to the fullest by trying the various restaurants, bars and other hotels along the beach. You could walk along the 7 mile beach and watch people singing Karaoke outside by their hotels and join them or you could stumble upon a beach party.
On the property we also had a cook so I had requested some shrimp and got these HUGE prawns that he placed on the grill for me.
Our hotel was about a 10 minute walk to the town. Negril is known as the fishing town of Jamaica
This was definitely my favourite trip to Jamaica hands down. I always suggest to people that visit Jamaica to take a trip to Negril for a few days because it’s an absolutely beautiful town.
